Capture the Love
Being pregnant is such a special time! Even if you are sick and uncomfortable the whole time, you want to remember those special times when you were bonding with and falling in love with your baby before he or she ever got here!
Maternity portraits can be taken individually, with a significant other, and with children! You can also do more intimate photos, as the session will be in your home! If you have seen a pose or have an idea that you want, let me know, and we'll create it for you! Otherwise, I have many, many ideas!!
These are typically best between 31 & 36 weeks.

Props I have: Bows: Pink, Yellow, Blue, Red, Purple Ribbon, Tags; Sheer Fabric: White, Black; Flowers: Pink, Yellow, Red, White; Baby Blocks; Chalk boards; Anything other props we use for older kids that you'd like to use.
Props you have: Baby shoes, baby onesies, books, outfits or items you think they'll wear/use for their newborn session, ultrasounds, wedding rings, nursery decor, and more!
What to wear: Solids probably work best for all photos of any kind, but of course you can wear your favorite things! Everyone in the same solid color works great to take the focus to the belly/baby! Shirts that can be unbuttoned to show the belly work nicely - as do shirts that can be rolled under to show the belly.
IF you want to show your bare belly, you might want to roll down the elastic band on your pants for about 30 minutes before your session to eliminate lines. Also, dresses don't work for showing your belly (I know this is a "duh"...)
IF you don't want to show your bare belly, wearing black shirts on a black background will not show that you have a belly at all. Also patterns take away from showing you are actually pregnant.
Keep in mind you can also always do two outfits - one dress and one to show your bare belly off. :)
