Family Portraits
Families are another area I bring much experience to! There are many tips and tricks to making an excellent family portrait! These, also, can be taken using your home as a backdrop (lifestyle), or on location! I also photograph family events!
Preparing for your session
Follow all preparations for sessions given on the children's page
(if children are involved).
Choose clothes that compliment each other. You might choose to all wear white button-down shirts with jeans - black t-shirts with khakis - All the boys wear blue, all the girls in pink - Everyone in fall colors - All shades of the same color.
I don't recommend all patterns. Everyone in a different style of plaid, for example, is very distracting in a photo. Whatever you choose to wear, remember you want the focus on the family relationship, not the clothing. Keep in mind the setting, as well. You probably don't want to wear extremely formal clothes in the park.
When in doubt, ask me!
