From Danica's Mom: "Danica has a Chiari malformation
in her brain. What this means in simple terms is she has a gap where
most people's skulls are closed so some of her brain is sticking out
into her spinal column. She had brain surgery in November, 2009, which
brought her some relief, but her brain became herniated again, and we
were told she needed another more involved brain decompression. In
addition to her Chiari, Danica was diagnosed with atlas assimilation,
a congenital formation of her skull fused to her neck vertebrae. She
needed spinal fusion to help make her stable. Both surgeries were at
Cincinnati Children's Hospital on October 5th, 2010. She is wearing a Minerva
brace while we wait for the bones to fuse and is also in a wheelchair.
Our hope remains!"

Roger's Honey
Roger's Honey is located in Baltimore, Ohio. They offer honey, jams made with honey, beeswax candles, soaps made with honey, bee pollen, limited bee-keeping supplies and much more. They have even developed a line of skin care products using beeswax. They also offer hands on classes on several different subjects.
Their honey is considered to be wildflower honey as the bees have access to many different flowers and some of the bees are even on local fruit farms. Their honey is all natural; it is extracted and bottled locally.
I recently took the above photos for Roger & Marlene. They are wonderful people. I've taken their granddaughter's photos for several years now. I swear by their lip balm! It's way better than Vaseline AND all natural!
